ACCOMMODATION
The hotel reservations and accommodation conditions are
presented in the enclosed
form in PDF format of Hotel Ramada, which
should be:
1) printed out;
2) completed on hand and signed;
3) Scanned and
4) Sent to the e-mail of Ramada Hotel (listed in the
form).
The Organizing Committee managed to negotiate very reasonable prices
and good accommodation conditions.
TRANSPORT
Hotel Ramada is located in the
central part of Sofia, next to the railway station
and the central bus station. If you arrive by train
or bus, you can reach the hotel on foot for 2-3 minutes by
crossing only one tunnel. For those arriving by car, the
hotel offers favorable parking conditions.
Apart from a taxi (which should
cost appr. 10-15 BGN), another way to arrive at Hotel
Ramada from Sofia Airport is to take the metro from
the airport and at “Serdika” station to change to line
2 heading
to
“Nadezhda”, travelling 2 more stations and getting off at the central railway station.
All conference events: the welcome
party, the coffee breaks, the lunches and the closing dinner are free and will be held in
Hotel Ramada, which will also facilitate the
visually impaired participants.
USEFUL
INFORMATION
The
cultural and commercial center of Sofia is just
two stops away from Hotel Ramada by metro or tram.
The ticket price for public transport in Sofia is
1.60 BGN (appr. 0.80 EURO) for a single ticket for
a metro, tram or bus. It is possible to purchase
one-day travel card for the whole city network of
Sofia at a price of 4 BGN (appr. 2 EURO).
All
payments on the territory of Bulgaria are made in
Bulgarian Leva (BGN). There is an exchange office
in Ramada Hotel.

After a consultation with the consular office of the Ministry of foreign affair of Bulgaria, I would like to let you know that individuals from the Balkan countries which are not EU members, can travel to Bulgaria without visas, under the condition that their international passports contain biometrical data.
Citizens of the Greek part of Cyprus and Israel do not visa, either.
